Hello Zukaholics,
Been lurking for many months and gleaming info from your vast knowledge
base. Thanks for the many tips. Have a few questions:
I traded a computer monitor that I was not going to use for some Oly
camera stuff (sight unseen). It was an OM-10 with manual adaptor, T20
flash, Samigon winder and 4 lenses. Everything is in decent shape
except for 2 of the lenses.
1) The Zuiko 50/1.8 has what looks like the beginnings of frost on one
or more of the inner elements. ( Spider web looking stuff in the coating
) I don't know if this affects picture quality yet. Is this mold?
Bad storage? Can it be cleaned?
2) Another lens, has this same thing to a much lesser extent. It's a
zoom; 80-200 /4.5 Macro. It has a 52mm filter and has the words " MC
AUTO ZOOM CPC PHASE 2 CCT. " on the front ring. The zoom + focus are
done with one outer ring. What brand of lens is this? Any good?
3) The other lenses were a 135/2.8 Tamron and an 85-210/3.8 Soligor
Macro Zoom. Any opinions on these?
Regards,
Ted Slotwinski
