Forget the OM manual focus system then. For your long exposure needs, I'd go
with an OM-2n, a OM-2S, or an OM-4T.
$150 is typically the lowest price I see for an OM-1 with 50 mm F/1.8 in 9 or
9+ condition, but needing an MR-9 battery adapter and probably a cleaning,
lubricating, and adjusting.
