While I am sorry that it happened to you, Ken, I am afraid that thieves in
Baltimore and in Quincy, Illinois are aware what they can find in a garage
or a parked car.
My first tripod was stolen from my car once, which taught me I should never
leave my camera equipment in my car for long. My German teacher got her
Olympus P&S stolen from her car in the garage. She said that that was the
only time she had ever left her Olympus in her car and a thief got a wind
of it and stole that camera!
