I have been following intently the recent discussions of focusing screens.
As an OM-2N user, my potential screens seem to fall into three areas:
Olympus 1-series screens: Designed for my camera, least expensive, widest
variety available, presumably the dimmest?
Olympus 2-series screens: Require some modification to fit, brighter than
1-series, only a couple available.
Beattie "Intenscreens": Should fit camera, may throw meter?
I still don't have a way to decide between Beattie and 2-series.
Does anyone out there have both?
Will either one in fact throw the meter reading on my 2N?
Which is brighter?
What other factors should I be considering?
Thanks in advance for your help-this list is wonderful.
