Tomoko is right, but there is a IR mark that is not a "dot" but a red
"line" that is also a DOF mark. And if you give a close look at the 50
1.8, at the 28 2.8 and at 100 2.8 you will find it (and on many other
lenses). My zooms have not DOF marks, and this may be a reason for not
having IR marks too.
FI my usual magazine-test reads about half mm of chromatic aberration in
the 100/2.8 lens.
