AFIK, there is no difference between the two, except for the cosmetics.
I believe when the -4T was first introduced in the United States it had
'cahmpagne'
top and bottom plates. And at the same time the identical version with -4Ti
was
introduced to the rest of the world (ROW). Then sometime later in the mid '80s
Olympus
introduced the black version of the -4T and the -4Ti, where top and bottom
plates were
black coated, and were introduced same manner as original 4T/4Ti.
I think the -4T designation was dropped sometime in 1996 and there is only one
brand
new OM-4Ti being marketed for the entire world.
