I have modified a hotshoe to a TLL cord for my OM-10 once (hey, I liked the
flash ready light!). I forget the connections, but Olympus used to make a flash
height extender (looked similar to a flash bulb lifter on a Kodak 110). I
butchered it and patched it to the TTL cord. Worked fine. Just tossed it a
couple of years ago.
