My recollection is that both Shoe 3 and 4 have three contacts for the flash
foot (same pattern as OM-4 before the F-280) and on the bottom, two pins plus
the main coaxial fixing screw.
I don't have a Shoe 3 to refer to but the local Olympus dealer had several the
last time I went to look for a Shoe 4. I had to sort through the parts bin
checking the bottoms to find the right one. Of course, the one Shoe 4 was
cracked.

By the way, how many pins has the shoe 3?
My shoe 2 has 1 in center of the fixing screw and 1 behind it.
