With all this recent talk about wide angle lenses, I started
to look for a 24/2 lens and very quickly decided that I cannot
afford to buy one at this time.
However, I do have a 24-48 f4 zoom that I haven't used for
quite a while. I am wondering what people on the list think
about the quality of this lens. Because it is such a slow
lens, I mainly intend to use it for outdoor landscape only
and not for in-door use (unless I can use a flash).
So is the 24-48/4 zoom a good general lens to mount on the
camera in place of the 50/1.8 standard for outdoor use?
