Some folks rave about the f/2 Zuiko wide angles.

I don't think the independents offer much in the way of prime
wide angles, although there are some wide angle zooms worth
taking a look at. For getting the most "bang-for-the-ounce"
(or "bang-for-the-gram") the f/2.8 Zuikos are hard to beat.

As for a choice between the 24mm and 28mm, that may come down to
your personal shooting style. It is a long stretch from 50mm to
24mm. If you use a 35mm, going to 28mm doesn't buy you that much
more. When using prime lenses, I find that the 50mm-35mm-24mm
spread works well. In fact, you might find yourself using the
35mm more than you might think now. As a general matter, I've
found 28mm not quite wide enough when shooting people pictures.
If you can borrow a camera (doesn't even need to be an Olympus)
for a day with some wide angles, I think it would be easier to
make up your mind.
Another factor is that if you buy f2.8 lenses, you could be a
lot farther along towards buying two lenses, instead of one f/2.
