Older 2s's have a circuit that uses the camera batteries to power the
viewfinder LED. SOOO, as long as the flash is on, your camera batteries
drain.
I do the official Olympus mod which adds a small circuit. This small
circuit, shifts the responsibility of LED lighting to the FLASH batteries.
Drain goes back to normal.
