John,
Thank you very much for repairing my OM-2S (repair # 2723). I am VERY pleased
to have it back and in working order.
Now for a "nutty customer" question:
I have never used a dedicated flash on my OM-2S and just purchased one after I
got it back from you. When I mounted it I discovered I had a "green" light in
the viewfinder and had one of those "oh-oh" feelings. I went back to your web
site and re-read the section on battery drain. I guess I assumed (bad thing
to do) that as part of an overhaul the circuit would be changed to a "red"
indicator as mentioned per your site but I didn't ask for that change
specifically. Is the presence of a green indicator always a problem that
causes battery drain? Please let me know what to do here - how extensive a
repair it is and the cost (gulp- but please don't tell my wife:) )
Thank you again,
John Hays
