In Japan when we give a wallet/coin holder as a gift, we insert a
5-yen coin in it as a good luck fortune. It is sort of a witty custom
that not too many people exercise now these days. The 5-yen in Japanewe
pronunciation has a connotation of being prosper when it is included in
the gift and at the same time you can open/close battery compartment or
winder/motor drive compartment covers.
I'm not sure whther Olympus would bother read above comment and implement
the practice to show the yen power of the '90s.
