I have exactly the same experiences. Three psychologists specialising in
vision here reckon that there's no pattern for right or left eye dominance
for left/right handed people. One offered to stir my brain about a bit
with a teaspoon through the eye orbit - said that might sort it out.
I do put up with the MX poking me in the eye, just for the use of the 105mm
portrait lens.......
