Yeah! Mid-way = God's own county - Yorkshire. Centre of the Universe!

On this note: I was out lecturing last Friday night when the police came a
knocking at the door. They asked my wife why I had been sitting in the car park
of a local country park a few days earlier looking at an adjoining house
through
binoculars. Someone had reported a suspicious person sitting in a car for over
an hour looking at this house and making notes, possibly casing the joint (ok
if
it had been Frank VL's Oly warehouse that may have been the case). But, I was
actually using a N*k*n F4 and a N*kk*r 600mm to photograph Bramblings. Robust,
brightly coloured finches which come into the UK from Scandinavia each winter.
How can anyone mistake a blunderbuss of a N*k*n for binoculars???? Anyway,
Heather must have convinced the fuzz that I was kosher and they left in good
spirit.
Hey, Iceland would be good for me. Always longed to photograph that ice and fire
stuff.
