Happy New Year, everybody!
We spent New Year's Eve with dear friends, including furbaby Overton, the Massive Mastiff, a lap dog of immense
proportions. He weighs in at 240 pounds, or 149 kg. He possesses a sub-contrabass bark that could frighten Godzilla,
and salivary glands that drool into overtime, but he's basically a big baby goofball whose antics had me laughing
hysterically all evening.

Yowza, that's a lotta dog! If it drools in proportion to a St Bernard, they'd need a
five gallon bucket around it's neck. 🙂
My hip, which has endured two surgeries in the past year and a half, continues to improve. I'm almost finished using a
cane.
Ouch! We have a friend who fell and broke his hip. Recovery had a setback, but he was healing and hoping to abandon the
walker soon when we visited a month ago. In good spirits and otherwise well.
Once I have a bit more confidence in my sense of balance, I will start using a "real" camera again. For now, the cell
phone will have to do.
Just Do It - finish healing, that is.
