I am not sure about Sonnie yet
I seem to have quietly fallen in love with the A7C. It does all I want in a GX9 form factor and hardly heavier. (Smaller
and lighter than an OM-1, too.) It's just what I grab if I want FF. I know, "only" 24 MP, but very nice MPs. I have an
A7RII, 42 MP, but I'm just not using it. (Nor the A7 II in the sale crate. The "R" may join it.)
I've never liked rangefinder cameras, but prefer that form factor for mirrorless. I loved the GX9s, but the OM-1,
bigger, clunkier, heavier, just does more . . .
As with the OM-1, the bigger battery is good. I was concerned about losing the simplicity of the IR remote, but a little
Aodelan BT remote is actually better. Sure, there is phone/tablet remote control, but all I want is a remote release
button in a pocket; no fuss no bother.
Of course, all my use so far has been with MF lenses*, so one control dial is
fine.

* Oops, a lie, one of 520 shots is with an FE lens. I wonder why. 😁

What if the Hokey Pokey *IS* what it's all about?
