"Foodies" refers to the photos, not the photographer.
Misuse of a term with a widely accepted meaning is bound to cause confusion. You are free to do it, but may reap the
whirlwind. 😉
I don't enjoy photos of food, that's all I meant.
Fair enough.
My son is an erstwhile chef, so I have some appreciation for plating and so
forth. Taking a photo before eating, like some prayer ritual -- well, it's
amusing, I guess, and some people really seem to enjoy it, and I enjoy
people enjoying themselves. No judgment expressed or implied.
I don't do it very often, whether I'm too busy cooking, or whatever. I just liked the look of the ingredients in the
dish as composition and colors. Then I liked the changes after cooking. The third shot is sort of an obligatory
follow-up. My heart wasn't in it.
