Yes, it works nicely for you. Some consider this lens the "OM Sonnar." It has
the three Ernostar-like front elements. It has a "Sonnar-look" particularly
the nice bokeh.
There are a few distances when it gets busy and that is where I like my CV
90/3.5 wide open. I trust you have the later optical formula sn> 115,000. I
think the MC might have changed in even later ones but would have to look that
up. Others will know. Jane Bown used the lens to photograph the Queen--
always at F2.8. She would time it so the light would be right. For portrait
length lenses, rendering trumps absolute resolution. The 85 mm/f2 has almost no
noticeable focus shift and has floating elements that control aberrations at
full aperture, and it remains a remarkably small lens.
