We have a mulberry tree that does not bear fruit (I think it is "male" --
let's not get into it!), but the leaves are delicious, judging from the
attitudes of deer and other herbivores, not including myself. After a
derecho in 2020 and significant cleanup last year, the tree has sprouted
many leafy shoots off the main branches, perfect for critters, even those
who are generally low to the ground:
