Do you have the battery grip? My EM-1iii is not new and the PO tossed the
shoe cover out (or else KEH held on to it to sell it to you). What I found
is that the hot shoe is the perfect place to store the cover for the
contacts on the bottom of the camera that must be removed to make the grip
work. So that's my shoe cover now.
