There is a wonderful trail on La Palma near Las Tricias that goes by a
substantial number of Drago. The trail head is hard to find but had GPX files
loaded into Outdooractive on my phone.
They should have said watch for the baby kitties near the trail head.

The trail goes by the ocean and is quite scenic.

I was lagging behind as taking looking for images.
Later we found one drago at a scenic overlook (mirador) bent in direction of
the Milkyway arch. Not the darkest location and found some building art
suggesting it might be a cliche.
Marnie said no one else would know but took a pass.

More building art in Pontagorda where we stayed.

A superb place with amazing foregrounds and cloud inversion layer is on top of
the ridge at Roque de los Muchachos.

There is some security barring the public past dusk, but I read that all they
do is drive you down past the car exclusion zone.
It often does blow like stink on those ridges and Marnie and I froze on an
adjacent ridge- despite down and 5 layers -it was still not the same. The
severe switch-backs at 4AM are not easy to navigate.
More to follow.
