I have owned an E-M5 II for some years, but have only just got round to trying
the high-res mode.
In normal use i have the image type set to LSF+RAW, where LSF is large, super-fine. This always produces a JPG file
and an ORF file.
According to my Friedman guide, having RAW set on should produce three files for a high resolution image, JPG, ORF and
ORI, but I'm only getting the JPG file. Any suggestions?
I never had such a problem. But my remaining E-M5 II is on loan to a student at the moment. I don't recall there being
any trick to it.
Have you got the latest firmware?
I can offer some small tips:
The ORI file is simply a differently named 16 MP ORF file of a single frame of the series taken to do the HR file.
Rename it so it doesn't have the same name as the HR file or put in in a different subfolder, change the extension to
ORF and it will open in any Raw converter.
The Raw conversion Plug-in for HR that Oly provided for LR/ACR is crap. The HR
ORF file will open directly.
