I wonder how it compares in size, resolution to those already out there--Zuiko
500, Tamron SP 500 CAT or even the Siggie 600?
Newer design with an eye on keeping it small may help it. At first glance it
did not seem to be a standard T mount by based on the adapters, but judging by
pictures is fraught with hazard. The shortest adapter by eye is the Nikon F
which is already too long for OM, but if really a standard T2 mount it should
be able to be mounted on OM too.
Some electrical connections would have been nice so get exif and a distance
encoder (like MF CV lenses) would have enabled 5 axis IS for almost any
Sonnie body. (A1 is the exception-- doesn't require that) Also it tells the
cam the FL so don't have to set FL for IBIS.
That would increase the price and complexity of course but markedly aid
usability.
Othello at least would not be jealous of this CAT, Mike
