There are 2 small screws under the MD switch. Turning them
counterclockwise speeds curtains up, ccw slows curtains down. 2nd curtain
should be .1ms slower than the first (that's 1/10,000 of a second).
People often start twisting away, ending up with a shutter that doesn't
open above 1/250, or doesn't have enough "ooomph" to release the mirror, OR
if you do it just right, the curtain springs will unwind completely.
