Since what passes for a rush of comments on the list these days is past . . . The photos are of the interior of a
redwood tree, where fire long ago burned out the bottom center, leaving a cave of charred wood in the heart of a huge,
healthy tree. Quite common.
Ever thought of getting those old brushes and old oil paint out?
I never have tried painting on canvas, with oils or acrylics.
