Time to get away. Time to take more pictures.
Three months of endless people tramping abound in the house, repairing and
remodeling, ended a week ago. Necessary deferred maintenance, plus big
improvements. Totally worth it, but it was getting old.
They'll be back in a couple of weeks, to do the guest bath. Shouldn't be as bad.
We've recovered from our "breakthrough" Covid infections. Like a pretty bad
cold, but lingeryer. No clear way we got them. We haven't done things like eat indoors at
restaurants, we wear masks when out and not eating, etc. No major complaints; sans
vaccines, we might be obits.
Off tomorrow morning to Mendocino/Fort Bragg for three days, then Hendy Woods
SP, in old growth redwoods, for a couple more.
Mostly Incommunicado.

I know a lot of vaccinated people with "beakthrough" Covid.
I think this is being under reported. Feel ill, get and take a home test, rest until better, and no reporting. I happen
to have reported mine, because I'm on some Gov't follow-up message thing, that asks me regularly, but I suspect most
don't. And, of course, symptomless cases don't get reported.
Glad your's was mild. My daughter had it a bit rougher. The fact vaccinated
people can carry the virus is fueling the exposure level.
Something of a new, and more troublesome state. What do we do know? Are we, at least short term, immune? MikeG has
suggested we get boosters a month after the infections.
Enjoy getting away for a break.
Thanks!
Almost packed and off Moose.
