Nice detail, Mike. I know they also have to eat, but I prefer they do
it some place out of sight. A couple of years ago, I had one that sat
on the fence until he saw a nice sized bird on one of the feeders. He
would then swoop in and drive the bird toward the inside corner of the
house where the bird was stunned when it struck a picture window. The
hawk then grabbed the bird and disappeared.
