Thank you for sharing those important images. Your uncle certainly looks very
dapper.
It is very unfortunate that many Jews continue to not feel safe in France and
have voted with their feet.
A recent AJC Paris survey found that 70% of French Jews have been victims of at
least one anti-Semitic incident in their lifetime and 23% have been targets of
physical violence on at least one occasion.
France needs to do more than commemorative ceremonies.
