Now that it's implemented in LR, it's actually quite usable. As a
general rule, I'm finding the effective improvement to be about one
step in sensor density. So, the E-1 is giving me equivalent image
quality to the E-300's 8MP sensor. However, it doesn't seem to be
uniformly so across all cameras. The old Four-Thirds bodies really
benefit from it, but the 16MP GX-85 is so far pretty hohum in
response, The A7ii doesn't really see much benefit either. I think
what I'm seeing is that the more in-camera processing the image file
is subject to the less effective the enhance feature is.
