On Sunday morning I cycled to the Cuevas de Canelobre, a cave complex near
Busot. What makes the ride special is the final 2.5 km ascent to the caves,
during which one goes from 310 m above sea level to 570 m, an average grade of
10%. The fact that the temperature was around 37C on that particular road made
it yet more challanging. Along the way there are signs to motivate (or scare?)
the cyclists:

In the afternoon, I rewarded myself with a walk down to the beach and a beer in
one of the bars on the promenade, while enjoying the views:

It is really nice to have the mountains and the sea so near.
Cheers,
Nathan
