A slight bit of shutter lag, yes. I found the camera to be a royal
pain for sports/action photography as a result. Eventually I had
learned how to shoot ahead of the action and that helped matters a
lot. But in those days, I usually resorted to shooting with an OM-1md
or OM-2md that didn't have quite so much lag.
As to the aperture stop down shock issues, yes, the OM-2S helped quite
a bit in that regard, but still didn't 100% address it with some
lenses. The 200/4 has a strange resonance with all OM bodies that I
think is actually related to the first curtain. Just a random thought
here, but I think the 28/3.5 and 28/2.8 also had a vibration issue
that likely contributed to my dislike of that focal length and had me
settle in on the 24/2.8.
