My earlier MIA package is definitely gone. I got refunded and the USPS
tracking still shows no activity after Memphis.
I have an overdue package that was already late when it left Memphis, and
yesterday it showed up in Denver. That one is a pair of OM mount Cosina
lenses, one of which (28-200/3.8-5.6) I've been looking for for a few years.
I'm crossing my fingers on this one.
Three other overdue packages are DVDs being sent by media mail. Those
usually take as much as a couple of weeks in ordinary circumstances.
There was an item on the evening national news the other day of people
having the same trouble, where packages will be scanned as outbound from a
facility and then disappearing.
