Uni, and it was quite a capable machine.
However, the company was also manufacturing carburetors.
My 1971 911 had a pair of Solex three barrel carburetors. 911 had started with Webers, then Zeniths, then Solex, until
fuel injection. Each was essentially three one barrels, cast together. Everything about each barrel was independent,
except they shared only two float chambers, in the two interstices.
I bought kits and rebuilt them. Trying to recall, I think the problem was in the rudimentary smog circuits.My impression
was that the move from Webers was to meet US smog requirements?
Balancing them was interesting, but not too bad, using a Unisyn. Easier than adjusting and balancing a pair of SUs on a
four banger Volvo.
