Duh! Hadn't even thought of that. With nothing to lose, I went to the
Walmart nearby and found that they had every Fram filter known to man. I
bought an air filter so that I can complete the tune-up this weekend and the
one that's in the mail will be for the next one.
Oil was still a disappointment, though. All they had for 20W-50 was
Castrol, and I'm not very enthusiastic about that brand. And no spark plugs.
I think the smart thing to do is keep a complete set of tune-up parts
handy.
I can buy five quarts of Pennzoil 20W-50 on evilBay cheaper than four
quarts of Valvoline locally. Go figure!
