[OM] Follow-Up on the "Bumble Bee with Green Eyes"

Though the bee of which I posted a photo today is not a Bumble Bee, it 
has been called by that name.  According to what I can find, it is a 
form of Eastern Carpenter Bee which has greenish, somewhat translucent 
eyes instead of the normal black eyes.  The scientific name is Xylocopa
