I used a VPN in the past to get around content restrictions (e.g. UK content
that was not available in Spain so I used a VPN to pretend to be in the UK).
But now most sites have wised up to this and simply reject traffic coming
through a VPN. Given this, I see no further need for such services. What am I
missing, other than possibly getting slowed down? If you think privacy, then
this is not an issue for me. When I plan coup d’etats and the like, I meet my
co-conspirators using other means.
Cheers,
Nathan
