I made a short visit to the local airport today. A Bellanca Super
Decathlon in eye-catching colors was visiting from Huntsville. This
looks like it would be real "fun machine".

The local skydivers were active in the beautiful sunshine. Here, a
tandem pair (instructor and student) were making a sharp turn upwind for
landing.

Two more tandem pairs were lined up for landing.

Students are told to raise their feet as they approach the ground, while
the instructor handles the ground contact.

This was my first time to try the ZD 50mm f/2.0 Macro with AF for sky
divers. Not being as agile as I once was, I shot from near the terminal
rather than out near the landing zone, but tracking the jumpers against
blue sky was not as difficult as I thought it might be. I might even
get up enough nerve to try the 50-200 SWD.
