This place (Sonic) provides mostly sandwiches (burgers, chicken, hot
dogs) and French fries, along with a variety of milk shakes, etc. For
better meals, I use DoorDash, which has an arrangement to take online
orders from 20 local restaurants and deliver the food to my door. It's
convenient, but rather expensive.

The trouble is, in the UK at least, the cautious people like me don’t frequent such
places (except with grandchildren, of course) and the people who do tend to be less cautious
when they are out. It’s a gross generalisation, perhaps, but the truth lies somewhere
on the continuum of behaviour.
