I don't disagree at all. OTOH, knowing the capabilities of alternate pieces of gear, as well as how they will likely
perform under various circumstances may enable a meaningful choice of what to use to get a decent, practical "good".
The promised Oly 150-400mm F4.5 TC 1.25x IS PRO is likely to be a good example. It may be better than either 100-400,
but would be useless for me.
