I agree that they did. AND I also recognize a specific trait of the
built-in Panasonic flashes that I can't describe, but can identify.
The L1 and the GX85 both have a specific coloring and contrast that
appears to be adjusted with the response of the sensor itself. If I
use any other flash, the trait isn't there. It doesn't show up on any
of the Olympus cameras. No other camera with built-in flash that I've
used has this one look. If I could find a way to describe, the only
thing I can think of is that there is a roll towards red with any warm
colors below mid-tone. It's especially visible with skin tones.
