How I have mine set up:
1. I get all settings where I want them as default and save them as C1. From then on, I have the mode dial on "C". Thus,
when I turn the camera off after making setting changes, it turns on the next time just as I want it.
2. I save C2 settings for Focus Bracketing and C3 for moving things, like birds.
It's also possible to have, in effect, four custom settings, if two are
alternate Focus Bracket settings.
3. I turn off focus/focus and shoot by touching the screen. The focus spot stays where it belongs, yet I can switch
Custom settings with two touches and operate the tabs on the right. This is new to the latest Panny bodies, not on prior
GX bodies nor the GMs.
<Menu=>Operation=>Touch Settings
<Touch Screen = On
<Touch Tab = On
<Touch AF = AF
<Touch Pad = Off
Then, use a screen tab to set touch operation.

It may be just me, but I had trouble with the switches on the lenses changing position, at inopportune times. (I see Don
did, too. ;-) ) How I handle them? Pulling put of bag? In any case, I covered them with clear Scotch plastic tape, and
have had no trouble since.
