The ant is pretty benign. Carpenter ants could be of concern. Just make sure
none of the wood around the house is moist.
Before I moved out of Massachusetts, to sell the house, I ripped up from the
roots several tarp loads of poison ivy vines. I found a use for all those old
socks my wife would nagged me about keeping. They helped protect my arms. Some
people would hire some goats to come clear the poison ivy.
Poison ivy vines and deer ticks with Lymes I can do without.
