I just picked up a rather odd item, a Tamron 01A flat field 2X
teleconverter. I looked at a number of reviews first before buying it. It
cost just $18 from Roberts Camera, which is less than half of the average
price. It fits on the Adaptal II mount. I'm curious to see how will this
works compared to the Sigma 2X teleconveter I've been using for over 40 years.
