Since the male Mocking Bird stays in the yard year-round, he feels he
owns it. If he gets challenged, he gets aggressive. Though he is
normally a ground feeder, he displays his top-bird position from time to
time. Here he is at the top of the hanger that holds the feeders,
looking down on his kingdom.
