We just had a “my first Leica” thread on the LUG. My first digital Leica is an
M8 that I bought in 2008. I still have it and still use it, often for
pseudo-infrared photography. In my film days I shot a lot with Maco 820 and
sometimes Kodak’s High Speed Infrared. With the M8 and 715 filter and enough
sunshine (plenty of that around here), you can get a decent effect and make
some interesting photos without straying far from home in these Covid-19 times.
