Since we are located nearly midway between the Upper Midwest and South
Florida, our airport gets a lot of visits from airplanes in need of a
fuel stop, and occasionally, lunch. Retired municipal cars are offered
as courtesy cars, to reach restaurants half a mile from the airport, and
fuel prices are kept reasonable. An older couple from Minnesota was
departing for home as I visited the airport yesterday.

The building in the background is the home base for Vanderbilt
University Medical Center LifeFlight helicopters which serve the
southern part of the midstate area.
