I happened to take two almost identical photos - one with the SL and one
with the Monochrome:

What do you think?
About what?
I think it's pretty nice that your Monochrome has apparently had a miraculous
recovery.
I think color is the better medium for the subject.
I think the Monochrome has a different, "hotter" curve, that nicely lifts the mid tones, than the SL, but that could be
a result of conversion and/or editing.
I think monochrome is a good choice for the moody shots of Noch.
I think "In the Temple Window" should be very slightly rotation and perspective corrected, cropped on the left to 10x8
proportions, printed at 20x16 and hanging on a gallery wall.
I think color is the better choice for most of these subjects.
I think "Ambaoux, Kacha Woman, II" is wildly over processed, "Papaya Lady in B&W" isn't bad, but both people look better
in color.
I think "Bath Time" works in monochrome, but would prefer it either cropped
and/or with the foreground shore darkened.
I love the back support in "Backstrap Loom". I don't understand the color in
"Weaving and Visiting with Family"
