I would love to have DSL. I could get it from Copper.net for the same
cost as dialup from EarthLink. But here, in the world's most technically
advanced nation, it's not available, even though I can see buildings of a major
university from my front door.
And this morning I discovered why I've been having trouble with the wifi
at the coffee shop I've been going to. He has two wifi systems, one 4G and the
other 5G. He doesn't bother with the 4G, just uses the 5G. He insists that
they are identical. He has no technical background, instead was a Christian
minister who was tossed out into the street many years ago.
Welcome to Amerika, where people with no technical background know
everything and people with 30 years experience know nothing.
