Interesting to see this Moose, I too do not want to do a clean install of
Win 10 on my relatively new Win 7 Desktop machine (hardware should handle
Win 10 as I had the choice of a 10 or 7 installed when I bought it). I have
attempted "in place" Windows installs in the past and never had any success.
Based on your experience I think I'll "hang in there" with this Win 7
desktop as long as I can - maybe until I am ready for new hardware.
What are the "must have" features of Win 10 that I don't have in Win 7 ?
Don't want "feature", The interface.
'Must have" feature of 10, continuing MS support, with updates to the OS and
the anti malware.
I have a Win7 desktop and a Win10 laptop. I far prefer the 7 interface.
Don't want "feature", of Win7, The hackers who will especially target those who
continue to use Win7.
How many Win 7 updates have there been ?
Since the beginning??? 100,000? ;-)
Seems to me that the Windows
"geniuses" should be able to devise a way of getting from 7 to 10 directly.
They did. Worked for CH, and likely for many others. Just not for me.
